6:52 I've been seeing a lot of articles saying masks don't help. They have holes in them and viruses can easily penetrate them as they're smaller. Constant washing of your hands, using hand disinfectant, coughing and sneezing into your elbows or tissue/ clothing (all standards for preventing common colds) work here. Masks are apparently a psychological thing: a viral epidemic that is uncontainable causes ppl to buy things they think will protect them and assert some control over the situation. Masks are really only helpful when you're actually in contact with a known Coronavirus victim, such as a doctor treating an ill patient. Even if you go about doing your daily activities like walking outdoors, a mask won't prevent you from contracting the disease. Masks are actually worn to prevent the doctor's spit and nasal fluids from reaching a patient during open surgery. The only benefit is wearing a mask makes you aware that it's there and so you don't rub your face or use your hands near your mouth like you normally would. Just constantly wash your hands. What are your thoughts? Here's one article:

  10. Jessica B says:

    Update: it's 52 people now.

I wish Sweden took the virus more serious… "it's okay~ no need to worry" ๐Ÿ˜ฉ
Right now we have about 14-15 people who are infected and a lot of people are traveling to countries that are infected (there's a holiday in Sweden right now) and don't think of what could happen ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

People don't travel to the countries just because of the virus. But because they have booked a flight and want to go on holiday.

  11. Veda C. says:

Glad to see you guys are well. As for video ideas, what about card games; Korean or Canadian or any type of card game that you enjoy. Or maybe a board game that is commonly played in Korea or Canada. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Gabrielle Monette says:

In regards to the virus, bad timing, but I've recently arrived to Korea for a semester abroad… The university postponed the start of the semester until mid march though, and there are talks of online classes until the beginning of April when classes do start (though the online classes is just hearsay at this point)…

  13. Kari Haruka says:

My situation isn't in Korea, but Japan.. Both myself and my partner are now doing the majority of our work from home and her business trip to Switzerland has also been cancelled due to the outbreak in Japan (and her parents who live in Hokkaido has temporarily closed their business due to Hokkaido issuing a state of emergency).
More people are working from home, schools are closing…. This is really unprecedented in Japan.

  14. Renae Yu says:

My husband and I own a ๊ณต๋ถ€๋ฐฉ, we have voluntarily closed last week and this week.

  15. Corinne Rivoallan says:

  17. Samantha Vlogs says:

    Stay safe !!

  18. Nataliya In Motion says:

Not Korea, but a lot of touristy places like my work have been closed until further notice in Japan. Also while Japanese schools are on break, the grade schools are usually going to clubs and extra-curricular classes, but those have been canceled. My college has switched to online classes for 2 weeks, maybe more if the cases increase in Tokyo.
I think Kyuho's Ugly Kitchen is a good idea. I saw some others comment about it

You should try wrapping the two thick posts that come out of the old table with cat-post rope if bemo likes to scratch! I did that with my old house table. Just use a little bit of hot glue on the top and bottom to secure it and the glue comes off cleanly when you want to pull it off~ it helps with interior also! They sell it for really cheap online

  30. Lucky Gracie says:

The artificial Monstera, looks almost like the real plant. Sorry, about the situation and itโ€™s affect on the entire population plus, the affect it has on both of you. How are both of your parents? Stay careful, but hopeful that all will be better soon. When will the Sakura trees begin blossom?

I highly recommend getting a big, real monstera plant (like the fake one you got). They are very easy to care for, from someone who also has a track record of killing plants! We've had our Monstera for almost a year and it's still fine even though we water it minimally!

I'm living in Korea, and I work at Inchoen airport. In terms of my work, we don't really have many customers definately. Everyday we should check our temperature upon arriving at the office. Some counters are close temporaraily and some company wants to cut down the expences so they give the staff 40 or 50% of their salary.
In any company which is related to Tourism and Airlines, the situation is not really great..

Some public school teachers are bragging about all their extra paid time off, and are running all over Seoul having fun almost everyday. Not exactly responsible with the virus on the loose. There always has to be selfish people. While some hagwon workers are stuck working in an infected building everyday, teaching the kids online.

  61. Diana L Est says:

You can do a mukbang video telling us 50 things we don't know about you or a video about Sarah's wardrobe, or 'a day in the life of Beemo', or a video of you three (yes I'm including Beemo) telling us about your faves things like books, music, etc, etc.

Stay safe out there guys! It looks like the virus has really reached the mainland US, and there are now a bunch of cases in my backyard! Hopefully doctors can find a vaccination for this one ASAP!

  69. Erin Allice says:

Maybe a video on the differences in product availability both for western products in korea and on korea products in canada? Do you end up having to substitute a lot when cooking or are things available but just too costly.

  70. Stevie Braun says:

So glad you two are both healthy and staying safe through "this situation", and Beemo, and the neighborhood cats. I really think your love seat is quite adorable in your new place. I cannot wait to see more videos of your place coming together after the move. Have you gotten some new fur-niture for Bemo? Maybe a new cat tree he can lounge out on or watch you guys from as you make videos? Just thrown' out some ideas.

  71. Cali Dreams says:

You most likely over nurtured plants like succulents that are thrive more when neglected and not watered often. Plus they need lots of sun. Try pothos plants for indoor. You canโ€™t over water or underwater, they grow with or without much light. Their vines/leaves grow well and when they get long, cut and stick in jar of water and it will grow roots in a few weeks so you can plant or keep growing in jar. You will not be disappointed ๐Ÿ˜€

  72. J C says:

The plant looks really great for being a fake one! I wish I could get more real house plants but many are poisonous to cats.

  73. Judy Tran says:

what type of mask do you guys use when you're out and about and where do you buy it? anywhere online??

  74. Robert Yi says:

Gardening tip. Assuming loving means she over water. Two items to think of with house plants. First, oversized pots, more soil you have more soil to retain moisture and less direct contact with water. Second, a sediment bed below soil, only water to top of sediment bed. Mark a point to water up to on pot. House plants tend to be over watered. Determine what kind of watering for type of plant. Last simple hint, change out soil or add new potting soil.
    Ok, take care.

  75. S Lue says:

Sara, you and the food. Just eat!

  76. Robert Yi says:

I thought that plant was real. I went through my subscribe and glanced at the screen and thought it was real. Haha, so to help you with home gardening plants absorb water they donโ€™t drink water. Just keep that in mind. Bye stay safe.

  77. yoojeongsyootube says:

I love the plant! May I know where you got it from?

  78. applseed mao says:

Can you do a video of you squishing kyuhoo face cheeks and buttocks. He's such a cutey !

  79. Nats_M says:

Get some airplants they are extremely low maintenance, look amazing and you can attach to them to pretty much anything. You can decorate them with anything minature and with rocks and shells etc. The numbers of infected here in the UK are still pretty low, but no doubt it will get worse before it gets better. Stay healthy and safe guys, lots of love from the UK XXXX
