Lace bolero jacket. Part 1 of 2
Lace bolero jacket. Part 1 of 2

Hello everyone. This is the first part of the video
tutorial how to crochet a bolero. In this video I’ll show you how to
work the pattern increasing chains and how to crochet one front part. The written instruction how to make this top is
available at: interunet.com/crochet-lace-bolero On this webpage you may share pictures
of your work and ask questions if any. Begin crocheting the bolero
from the bottom to top. Make a foundation chain of
one hundred forty six chains or multiples of sixteen chains
plus two additional chains. I count all the loops including
the loop on my hook. For the first row insert your hook into the fifth chain from your hook and work triple crochet four into one chain. Then work the repeat to end of the row. Chain one, skip three. One, two, three and triple crochet three into one chain. Again, my repeat for the first row is – chain one, skip three, triple crochet three. At the very end of the first row work chain one, skip three, triple crochet four into one chain and four returning chains. Second row work totally the same as
your first one. Again, hook fifth chain and work triple crochet four. After the first triple crochet four into
one chain continue the repeat. Again chain one, skip three and again
triple crochet three into one chain. At the end of the second row
work again triple crochet four into one chain and then
work four returning chains. Third row. Begin the row as usual. Triple crochet four
into the fifth chain from your hook. After the triple crochet four
into one chain, chain five. Then skip three and again work triple crochet three into one chain. Then I will work the repeat. Chain one, skip three, triple crochet
three into one chain three times. And then I will work chain five again. Now I will repeat the pattern starting
from the chain five. So, again after the fourth triple crochet
three into one chain I again, I will chain five, skip three,
triple crochet three into one chain. Then chain one, skip three, triple crochet three
three times, and so on to end of the row. Again, for the third row I worked chain five every four triple crochet three into one chain. At the end of the row work triple crochet four into one chain and four returning chains. Fourth row. Begin the row with triple crochet four into the
fifth chain from your hook. Then chain four. Skip five and work single crochet one. Then again chain four. Skip five and work triple
crochet three into one chain. Then chain one, skip three, triple crochet three. And then I will repeat one more time. After the tripe crochet three I will chain
one, skip three, triple crochet three. And then I will start the
repeat from the chain four. Again, I worked triple crochet
three into one chain three times. And now I will begin my
repeat from the chain four. So, after chain four skip five. Single crochet one. Then again chain four. Skip five, triple crochet three into
one chain and so on to end of the row. At the end of the fourth row, after last
chain four, skip five, single crochet one, chain four, skip five, work triple crochet four
into one chain and four returning chains. Begin the fifth row with triple crochet four into fifth chain from your hook. Then chain five. Then work single crochet one above single crochet one of the previous row. Chain three. And again work single crochet
one into the same base chain. Then again chain five and between these two triple crochet threes into one chain work tripe crochet three. Then again, chain one, skip three, triple crochet three and then just repeat the pattern again. Again after second triple crochet three into one chain I will repeat the pattern from chain five. So, chain five. Then above single crochet single crochet one and so on. At the end of the fifth row, after last arch of three chains, chain five. Then work triple crochet four into the very last chain and four returning chains. Begin your sixth row with triple crochet four into the fifth chain from your hook. Then chain four. Into the arch of three chains I will
work three quadruple crochets. Then picot, three chains and single crochet one into
the first chain of the three. And then into the same arch of
three chains I will work again three quadruple crochets, then picot and
then again three quadruple crochets. After the three quadruple
crochets work picot again. Thee chains, single crochet one. And then work three quadruple
crochets into the same arch. After last three quadruple crochets, chain four. Then skip eight and work triple crochet three into one chain. After the triple crochet three into one chain just work the repeat – chain four, three quadruple crochets into an arch of three chains. Then picot, again three quadruple crochets, picot, three quadruple crochets
into the same arch of three chains, chain four. Then skip eight, triple crochet three into one chain to end of the row. At the end of the sixth row, after last flower, three quadruple crochets, picot, three quadruple crochets, picot, three quadruple crochets into one arch, last arch of three chains, chain four, work four triple crochets into the very last chain of the row and four returning chains. Begin your seventh row with triple crochet four into the fifth chain from your hook. Then chain one, skip three and work triple crochet three into one chain. Then chain five. Work one single crochet above middle quadruple crochet. Chain three. And again single crochet one
into the same base chain. Then chain five. Then skip picot, skip three quadruple crochets, skip three chains. Into the fourth chain triple crochet three into one chain. Then again chain one, skip three, triple crochet three into one chain. And then just continue the repeat. At the end of the seventh row
after last arch of three chains, chain five. Then skip picot and six chains. Then work triple crochet three into one chain, chain one, skip three, triple crochet four
into one chain and four returning chains. Begin your eighth row with triple crochet
four into the fifth chain from your hook. Then work chain one, skip three,
triple crochet three two times. Then chain four. Work single crochet one into the arch of three chains. Then chain four. Then skip four chains – one, two, three, four,
and work triple crochet three into one chain. And then again work chain one, skip three, triple crochet three two times and repeat the pattern again. At the end of the eighth row after last single crochet one into the arch of three chains, chain four. Then work two times three triple crochets into one
chain, chain one, skip three. And then work triple crochet four into the
very last chain and four returning chains. Begin the ninth row with triple crochet four
into the fifth chain from your hook. Then work three times chain one, skip
three, triple crochet three into one chain, Then chain one, skip seven and again triple
crochet three into one chain. Then just continue the
repeat to end of the row. Crochet your tenth row as your second row, but work three returning chains instead of four. Now I will work one front part decreasing
chains from both front sides. Insert your hook into the fourth
chain from your hook and work triple crochet one. Then skip three and work triple
crochet three into one chain. After the triple crochet three into one
chain work three times chain one. Then skip three, triple crochet
three into one chain. After I repeated chain one, skip three, triple crochet three into one chain tree times, I will continue my row as my third row. So, I will chain five, skip three, triple crochet three into one chain and so on. After your last chain five work triple
crochet three into one chain three times. Then skip three and work triple crochet one. Then three returning chains and turn. Insert your hook into the fourth chain from
your hook and work triple crochet one. Then skip three, triple crochet
three into one chain. Then work again chain one, skip three,
triple crochet three into one chain. After you worked triple crochet
three into one chain two times Continue the pattern as for
the fourth row. Chain four, skip five, single crochet one. Then again chain four, skip five, triple crochet three
into one chain and so on. After your last single crochet
one, chain four, skip five work triple crochet three into
one chain three times. Then skip three. Triple crochet one. Three returning chains and turn. Continue the decrease. Thirteenth row. Triple crochet one into the fourth
chain from your hook, skip three. Then work triple crochet three
into one chain two times. Then continue the row as
your fifth row. So, chain five. Then above single crochet one work
single crochet one, chain three, single crochet one and so on. At the end of the thirteenth row, after
triple crochet three into one chain, chain one, skip three and triple crochet one. Then work three returning chains and turn. Starting from the fourteenth row I will
not decrease chains from the sleeve side and I will continue decreasing
chains from my neck side. So, I will insert my hook into
the fifth chain from my hook and work triple crochet three. Then I will continue crocheting the row as my sixth row. So, chain four and work a flower into the arch
of three chains and so on. At the end of the fourteenth row after triple
crochet three into one chain, skip three, triple crochet one and three returning chains. Fifteenth row. Work triple crochet into the
fourth chain from your hook. Then skip three, triple crochet three into one chain. And then continue the row as your seventh row. At the end of the fifteenth row,
after triple crochet three Chain one, skip two and triple crochet one. Three returning chains and turn. Begin your sixteenth row with triple crochet
three into the fifth chain from your hook as you did here. Then chain one, skip three, triple crochet three into one chain. And then continue the row as your eighth row. Chain four, single crochet one into
the arch of three chains and so on. At the end of the sixteenth row after last
triple crochet three into one chain, skip three, triple crochet one and three returning chains. Seventeenth row. Work triple crochet
one into the fourth chain from your hook. Then skip three. Work triple crochet three. After that, chain one, skip seven,
triple crochet three and so on. At the end of the seventeenth row, after last triple crochet three into one chain, chain one, skip two, triple crochet one and chain three. Then work eighteenth row like your tenth row. Triple crochet three into the fifth chain. And then work chain one, Skip three, triple crochet three to end of the row. At the end of the eighteenth row, after
last triple crochet three into one chain, skip three, triple crochet one and chain three. Nineteenth row work
similar to the eleventh row. So, after first triple crochet
three into one chain work chain one, skip three, triple
crochet three three times. Then chain five and so on. At the end of the nineteenth row after
last triple crochet three into one chain chain one, skip two, triple crochet
one and three returning chains. Twentieth row. Work triple crochet three into
the fifth chain from your hook. Then continue the row as your twelfth row. Work your twenty first row as your thirteenth row. Just continue the pattern. Starting from the twenty third row I will start
decreasing chains from the neck side also. I will work my twenty third row
similar to my fifteenth row, but after triple crochet one into the
fourth chain I will work chain one and then skip three and so on. Triple crochet three into one chain. Then chain five, single crochet one into the middle quadruple crochet. Then chain three, single crochet one into the same
chain, chain five and so on. Begin your twenty fourth row with a triple
crochet three into the fifth chain from your hook. Then chain one, skip three, triple crochet three, chain four, single crochet one into the arch of three chains and so on. At the end of the twenty fourth row after
last triple crochet three into one chain, work triple crochet one into
the very last chain of the row and three returning chains. Begin your twenty fifth row
as your twenty third row. Work triple crochet one into the fourth chain
from your hook, chain one, skip three, triple crochet three into one chain. Then chain one. And again skip tree, triple crochet three. Then chain one, skip seven, triple
crochet three into one chain and so on. Finish the twenty fifth row with chain one,
skip two, triple crochet one. Then chain three. Turn. Twenty sixth and last row. Work triple crochet three into
the fifth chain from your hook. Then work chain one, skip three, triple crochet three to end of the row. In the second part of the video tutorial I’ll show you how to crochet the second front
part, back part and finish up the bolero.
